BEAUTIFUL BEACHFRONT PALAPA-YURTS

All of our hand made palapa-yurts are equipped with fans, lights, decks and with the choice of one double, two double, or two single beds. All yurts are a few steps away from our clean restrooms and spacious bathhouse with dressing and shower rooms. All yurts are close to the beach and the dining room. Fall asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean and wake up feeling rejuvenated & refreshed.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Because of our remote location within the biosphere, your experience will not be the typical resort experience with the overcrowded beaches of Playa del Carmen and Cancun, loud music, and generic hotel rooms. Here you will experience Mayab Center's simple luxury, where nature guided our design. Sleeping in our beautifully crafted yurts allows the breeze from the ocean to cool you instead of air conditioning; in our beachfront dining area and gardens candles burn instead of lightbulbs; we serve simple fresh food; and we offer peaceful, quiet surroundings. Our shared bathhouse, designed to fit our conservation goals, is only a few steps from your yurt and is spotlessly clean and spacious.
