COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

Mayab is working to develop relationships with local schools, biologists and scholars, as well as local, regional and federal governments in developing sustainable, environmentally responsible development and environmental education programs.

We plan to offer opportunities in the summer for adult and youth groups to participate in sea turtle nesting season by learning from local biologists and observing turtles nesting on our beaches.

We are currently developing programs to work with schools both locally in Tulum and in the U.S. to bring young people to the beach to participate in hands-on conservation projects, sea turtle research and earn credits at their home schools.
